What is an online mirror?
An online mirror is a web page that shows your camera feed back to you like a looking glass. It is handy when there is no mirror nearby, when you need a closer view than a pocket mirror gives, or when you want to check your look before a video call. This online mirror adds the tools a bathroom mirror lacks: zoom, adjustable light, a flip switch, alignment grids, a freeze timer and a front or rear camera switch. Because it runs in the browser, the online mirror also works on shared or work computers where you cannot install software.
A webcam mirror with zoom and ring light
Choose 1x, 1.5x, 2x or 3x zoom to check brows, lashes or a blemish up close. The ring light draws a bright frame around the screen; raise it from 0 to 80 in a dim room so your face is evenly lit, much like a lighted vanity mirror.
Compare with a true mirrorFlip between mirrored and camera view
By default the picture is flipped so it moves like a normal mirror. Switch flip off to see the camera's own orientation, the way a photo or a video call shows you. Comparing the two is a quick way to understand why selfies can look slightly unfamiliar.

Why use our online mirror?
Most webcam mirror apps ask for a download or an account. This online mirror opens instantly in any modern browser, works on laptops, tablets and phones, and keeps the camera feed on your device from start to finish.
Nothing is recorded or uploaded
The camera stream is shown only in the current tab. Nothing is recorded, stored or sent to a server. A frozen frame stays in memory until you save it as a PNG to your own device or go back to the live view. If you close the tab or switch to another page, the camera turns off straight away.
Read the privacy policyMade for makeup and quick checks
Full screen removes distractions, zoom shows fine detail and the ring light fills in shadows, so the online mirror works well for makeup, shaving, contact lenses or a last look before you leave the house. A centre line helps you keep brows and parting symmetrical, the rule-of-thirds grid helps teachers and presenters check framing before going live, and on a phone you can switch to the rear camera to check the back of your hair.
Analyse your skin from a photoHow to use the online mirror in 3 steps
Open the camera
Press the camera button and allow access when your browser asks. On a phone the front camera opens; on a laptop the built-in or a connected webcam is used. If the camera does not start, check that no other app is using it and that the page is opened over a secure connection.
Map your eyebrowsSet flip, zoom and light
Keep flip on for a normal mirror view or switch it off to see the camera orientation. Pick a zoom level, add a grid if you want to check symmetry or framing, raise the ring light if the room is dark and tap full screen for the largest view. On a phone with two cameras you can switch to the rear camera, which starts in true view.
Plan a lash mapFreeze and save a frame
Tap Freeze to hold the current frame and inspect it calmly, or choose a 3, 5 or 10 second timer so you can step back and pose first. Save the frame as a PNG if you want to keep it, or return to the live mirror with one tap.
Try a new hair colour
- 1Open the camera and choose mirrored or non-mirrored orientation.
- 2Set zoom and ring light, then freeze the useful frame.
- 3Save a PNG locally or return to the live mirror.
Online mirror FAQ
How to mirror my webcam?
Open this online mirror and allow camera access: the picture is mirrored by default, so it moves like a real mirror. To mirror the webcam inside a specific app such as a video-call program, use that app's own video settings.
A mirror online to see yourself?
Yes, that is exactly what this page is. Open it, allow the camera and you see yourself instantly, with zoom, light and full screen if you need them.
How to stop webcam from mirroring?
In this online mirror, switch Flip off to see the unmirrored camera view. In other apps, look for a Mirror my video or Flip option in the camera or video settings; turning it off changes only your own preview, not what others see.
Why is my webcam mirrored?
Most apps mirror your own preview because people expect to see themselves the way a mirror shows them. Others usually receive the unmirrored image. Switch Flip off here to see that version.
Is there an online mirror with light?
Yes. The ring light setting adds a bright border around the screen, adjustable from 0 to 80, which lights your face like a small vanity light. Pair it with a lamp in front of you rather than behind you for the most even result.
Can I use the online mirror for makeup?
Yes. Use full screen, raise the ring light and zoom to 2x or 3x for detail work such as liner, brows and lashes. A window in front of you is the best natural light source.
Can the online mirror go full screen?
Yes. Tap Full screen to fill the display; press Esc or the button again to exit. iPhone Safari does not allow true full screen for web pages, so on iPhone the mirror fills the whole page instead, with an Exit full screen button in the corner. Turning the phone sideways hides most of the browser bar.
Does the online mirror work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. It runs in Safari, Chrome and other modern mobile browsers and uses the front camera. No app download is needed. Turn your phone sideways for a wider view, or keep it upright to fill the screen with your face.
How much can I zoom in?
Up to 3x, with 1x, 1.5x and 2x steps in between. Higher zoom crops the camera image, so sharpness depends on your camera. Hold still for a moment after zooming so the camera can refocus.
Can I freeze the mirror and save a photo?
Yes. Freeze holds the current frame; Save PNG downloads it to your device. Go back to the mirror at any time.
What is the difference between this and a true mirror?
This page is an everyday webcam mirror with light and zoom. The true mirror page focuses on comparing the mirrored and unmirrored views side by side and splitting your face into halves. Use this online mirror for daily checks and the true mirror when you want to study how others see you.
Does the online mirror record me?
No. The stream stays in the current browser tab and is never recorded or uploaded.
