A good photo makes the difference

  • Look straight at the camera, with your head level.
  • Use even daylight, without strong side shadows.
  • Keep your face visible. Remove glasses and avoid filters.
  • Use a recent photo with just one face and a neutral expression.

Measurements describe this photo. Camera distance, expression and lighting can change the result. They are not a medical assessment or a measure of your worth.

Your photo is prepared locally as JPEG, and the free scan runs in this browser. The scanner loads its engine from this site; your photo is not sent to us or any third party. A complete report uploads the same prepared photo only after your separate consent.

What is an attractiveness test?

An attractiveness test turns a face photo into a score. Most tools hide how that score is made. This attractiveness test measures four parts of facial geometry from landmarks on your portrait and shows exactly how each part adds up, so the number never stands alone.

Symmetry

Twelve landmark pairs are reflected across a fitted facial midline. Their relative residuals enter five regional curves before the weighted symmetry index is rounded.

Visible thirds

Three connected distances run from the visible mesh top to the brow-peak midpoint, nose base and chin. Their raw shares are compared with 18/41/41. The mesh top is not the hairline.

Eye-width segments

Five consecutive distances run from one cheek through the outer and inner eye corners to the other cheek. Each is compared with a 20% share of their combined length.

Height / width

Straight visible top-to-chin distance is divided by cheek-to-cheek distance. The index uses 1.38 as its visible-window reference, separately from phi at 1.618.

Original anchor schematics explain the conventions. They are not an analysis of the illustrated outline or a personal preview.

The four measurements behind your face score

Symmetry compares twelve landmark pairs across a fitted midline. Facial thirds compare upper, middle and lower face heights. Facial fifths compare five widths across the eyes. Height to width compares face length with cheek width. The attractiveness test weights them 35%, 25%, 25% and 15% to make a 0–100 total.

How the reference position compares your score

Next to the total, a P position shows where the same score falls in a published historical score summary from The Face Report. It is a lookup on that source's scale, not a ranking against other people who used this attractiveness test, and the source's capture details are unknown.

Symmetry

Symmetry fits a midline through five central landmarks. Each pair residual is normalised by its mean half-span; five piecewise-linear curves map deviations to indices. Regional means enter weights 25%, 15%, 10%, 15% and 35% for eyes, brows, nose, mouth and jaw.

Visible thirds

For raw percentages U, M and L, thirds = round(clamp(100 − 4 × (0.5 × abs(U − 18) + abs(M − 41) + abs(L − 41)), 0, 100)). Displayed percentages are rounded separately.

Eye-width segments

For the five raw length fractions f, fifths = round(clamp(100 − 200 × sum(abs(f − 0.2)), 0, 100)). The five displayed percentages may not add to exactly 100.

Height / width

For raw visible height/width r, the reference index = round(clamp(100 − 200 × abs(r − 1.38) / 1.38, 0, 100)). Phi 1.618 is not substituted for 1.38 in this calculation.

The main drawing helps locate each term with cheek-aligned guides. Guide placement is a visual aid; scores use the exact distances and fitted symmetry axis stated here.

Why use our attractiveness test?

A rating from an app or a stranger rarely tells you why. In this attractiveness test every term has a drawing on your photo, a stated definition and your actual arithmetic, so you can see which measurement moved the total and decide for yourself what it is worth.

A free attractiveness test with no photo upload

The landmarks, the four measurements, the total and the share card are all calculated in your browser, so your photo stays on your device and no account is needed. The optional full report is separate and asks for its own upload permission.

Open formulas instead of a black-box rating

The attractiveness test does not use an AI model to judge your face. It applies fixed formulas to measured distances, which means the same photo always gives the same score and you can check every step. The weights are choices for this tool, not a universal law of beauty.

What a photo index leaves out

This attractiveness test describes landmark geometry in one image. It does not measure expression in motion, voice, personal style, relationships or another person’s response. Higher proximity to a selected numerical target is not a recommendation to change your appearance.

Pose, expression, occlusion and camera preparation can change the landmarks. A reference summary does not remove those differences. Compare like-for-like photos if useful, and read small changes with their capture context.

How to take the attractiveness test in 3 steps

  1. 1. Upload or capture a front-facing photo

Choose one adult portrait, use your camera or try the labelled example. Face the camera directly with a neutral expression and keep the forehead, both eyes and the chin visible. Even light and a normal lens distance give steadier landmarks.

    See your true mirror view
  2. 2. Inspect each measurement on your face

Select symmetry, thirds, fifths or height to width to see its guides drawn on your photo, its index, its weight and the numbers behind it. The total and the reference position update from the same measurements, so nothing is hidden.

    Find your face shape
  3. 3. Save your score card or compare photos

Save a card with the method notes attached, or run the attractiveness test again on a photo taken in the same conditions to compare. Hiding the photo on a card still leaves face geometry, so share it with care. A full report is optional.

Attractiveness test FAQ

How attractive am I?

This attractiveness test answers with geometry rather than opinion: a 0–100 score from symmetry, facial thirds, facial fifths and height to width in one photo. It describes that picture, not your worth or how other people will respond to you.

How attractive am I picture test?

Upload one clear, front-facing adult photo with the whole face visible. The attractiveness test places landmarks on it, draws each measurement on the picture and gives the score in seconds.

How attractive am I AI?

Many AI raters give an opinion you cannot check. This attractiveness test uses a face-landmark detector to find points, then fixed public formulas to score them, so the result is repeatable and explained.

How do I know if I am attractive?

No single score can tell you that. Attractiveness also depends on expression, style, voice and the person looking. Geometry is one narrow, measurable part, and that is the only part this page measures.

How attractive am I quiz?

This attractiveness test is not a questionnaire. Instead of asking about yourself, it measures your photo, so there are no answers to game and the same picture always scores the same.

Are attractiveness tests accurate?

They can be consistent without being a verdict. This attractiveness test is precise about its own formulas, but pose, lens and lighting change landmarks, and the weights are design choices rather than proven measures of beauty.

Am I attractive test male?

The attractiveness test uses the same four measurements and weights for every face, male or female. The reference position uses the source's overall summary, so read it as a score lookup rather than a ranking within one gender.

How attractive am I app?

There is nothing to install. The attractiveness test runs in a phone or desktop browser, including camera capture, and works without an account.

Can I take an attractiveness test with my camera?

Yes. Start the camera, line up your face and capture a frame. The camera stops after capture and the score is calculated on your device.

Is this attractiveness test based on AI?

Only the landmark detector uses machine learning, to find points on your face. The score itself comes from fixed formulas on those points, not from an AI opinion of your looks.

Can I convert my score to a PSL or pretty scale rating?

No. PSL and 1–10 scales use different conventions and cutoffs, so dividing by ten or mapping to a label would invent a precision the formula does not have.

What does the percentage position next to my score mean?

The P value is where your score sits in a historical score summary published by The Face Report. It is not a population percentile of attractiveness or a comparison with our users.

Which measurements make up the attractiveness score?

Symmetry counts 35%, facial thirds 25%, facial fifths 25% and height to width 15%. Each becomes a whole-number index first, and the weighted sum is shown with your result.

Why does another photo give a different score?

Angle, expression, lens distance and hidden landmarks change the measured geometry. Compare photos taken in similar conditions before reading a difference as a change in your face.

Does the attractiveness test upload my photo?

No. The free score and the share card are calculated in your browser. Only the optional full report uploads a photo, and only after its own permission step.
